Our parish store for books, religious goods and gifts

Location: Classroom 1 in the Parish Center

Hours: Full Service hours are 9:00 to 12:00 two Sunday mornings a week. Most months this will be the 1st and 4th Sunday of the month, but this may change because of “Generation of Faith” sessions or holiday seasons. Call 885-6405 to inquire about dates open, check the bulletin, or look for the red “OPEN” sign hanging in front of the parish center doors.

Self-Service Hours: During regular parish center business hours and evening events; there are self-service instructions enabling customers to pay with exact change, a check, or to leave billing instructions.

Please fill out the sales slip and remember to add tax when using self-service. It is hard to keep track of inventory without the sales slip.

Customer Access - Possibly some Books & More merchandise will be stocked in the vestibule of the Church again. Look for notices in the bulletin.

Sacramental Gifts - A limited stock of Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, and Wedding gifts are available at this time. AS ALWAYS gift items can be special ordered given enough time. Visit on Sunday mornings or contact the manager to have the opportunity to look through some catalogues.

Recent new stock - Religious Statues, "Holy Bears" (keepsake stuffed animals for specific events), Ladder Rosaries, and children's board books.

Volunteers - Books & More still needs volunteers to help on Sunday mornings or occasional evening Church functions. Can you help out once a month for an hour or two? Volunteers receive a 20% discount on most merchandise. Call us for more information!

Parish Lending Library

Did you know there is a parish lending library? Have you seen it lately? The parish lending library, located in room 1 of the parish center, has been going through some re-organization over the past few months and some new titles have been added.

The shelves are now organized by theme and include the following sections;

Shelves are labeled with the main categories. A few videos, DVDs and audio cassettes are included with the books. Except for a few items, you may check out books for as long as you need. A check out card can be found in the library pocket in the back of most items. Simply include your name phone number and date, leave the card on the small brown shelf to the left and then return the item when you're done to the same small brown shelf. Items with a limited check out time are labeled as such on the library pocket that holds the check out card.

A table in the library area features items connected to the monthly theme or liturgical season. Come and browse! This library is open to ALL parishioners.

Help is still needed to work on a box of books that have been hard to categorize. If anyone is willing to browse through these books, reading enough to suggest a category for shelving, leave your name and number at the parish center and you will be contacted.
