Our Heritage. Our Faith. Our Future

Elizabeth McGrath, Debbie & Al Smith
Campaign Co-Chairs

A five year-long process has brought us to this moment. The campaign is a response to our needs as a parish community - the needs YOU brought to our attention. You have told us that the construction of a new parish campus is the best use of our money and our resources for our long-term future.

The plan calls for the construction of a church that has a larger seating capacity and areas that more adequately serve the liturgical and spiritual life of the community. To that end, the new Parish Center will provide up to thirteen rooms for religious education programs and other parish activities. The new Parish Center also includes a Great Room with a capacity to seat 175 people, at tables.

In addition to the new church and parish center, the plan calls for renovating the Davis farmhouse to serve as a residence for the pastor. This new campus thus will unify all parish buildings on one site, eliminating the need to cross Tower Hill Road.

The Cost:
The projected cost for the site development and construction is $7.7 million. Our goal is to raise $3 million through this Capital Campaign. The remainder will be financed by the sale of existing property, interest on our endowments, and carrying some long-term debt.

The Diocese:
Bishop Mulvee has been very supportive of the project. He waived all assessments due on the monies we have received and on the interest we earn from them. He will continue to do this. He has also made available to us the services and resources of the Diocesan Offices for buildings and for finances.

The Parish:
The parish is very stable financially. The Finance Council has been diligent in developing an annual budget that is sound. The fifteen hundred member households have the financial resources to successfully accomplish the Capital Campaign goal.

The Campaign:
The campaign is being carried out in stages. This allows us to have personal contact with as many parishioners as possible. Campaign Co-Chairs and Cabinet Members have joined me in holding individual meetings, coffee socials, and even a pizza party to discuss the details of the campaign and encourage support.
