Daughters of Isabella, Immaculate Heart of Mary Circle

Daughters of Isabella members Anna Rotondo (l) and Regent Vivian Fay

The Daughters of Isabella, Immaculate Heart of Mary Circle, has merged with Anna C. Walsh Circle. We meet the first Saturday of each month at 1:30 PM at Kateri Church on 84 Exeter Road, Exeter, Rhode Island. The next meeting will be on March 4th. There will be no meetings during January and February 2006. Membership is open to all Catholic women 16 years and older.

We were quite active during this past year. Donations were made to Interfaith Community Dire Emergency Fund (Diocese of Providence), Knights of Columbus (St. Francis Council), St. Bernard CCD program, Kateri CCD program, and Rachels Vineyard. Other projects included donations of mittens and hats to needy children, donations of food to N.K. Food Pantry as well as a money donation, JohnnyCake of Wakefield, Mother of Life Center, and donations of personal items to the troops in Iraq. We pray for the souls in purgatory as well as anyone else in need of prayers. We've attended days of recollection and are trying to start a rosary group.

The Daughters extend themselves into the community in a variety of ways. Our Circle embraces all of Washington County as far west as Hope Valley, into Warwick and East Greenwich as well as North and South Kingstown. If we can be of assistance to your parish, please call us. For information, contact Vivian Fay, Past Regent, 789-1324, or by email at amafay@cox.net.
