Rev. Dennis Reardon The Reverend Dennis A. Reardon assumed the position of pastor for St. Bernard Parish in North Kingstown, Rhode Island in October 1999. Father Reardon's previous assignment had been as the assistant pastor for St. Joseph Parish in Pawtucket, also in Rhode Island - a position he held since June 1998. Father Reardon was born in Providence and educated there at Blessed Sacrament School. He attended high school and junior college in Hyde Park, N.Y., before completing his seminary studies at Our Lady of Providence Seminary in Warwick and The Catholic University of America in Washington. Father Reardon was ordained to the priesthood on May 28, 1972, by Bishop Louis E. Gelineau at Blessed Sacrament Church in Providence. He served as assistant pastor at Sacred Heart, Woonsocket; St. Edward's, Pawtucket; St. James, West Warwick; as pastoral assistant, Latin American Apostolate, Central Falls; as pastor, Holy Trinity, Central Falls, and team ministry, St. Michael's, Providence.
