Reflections

(Previous Reflection is here…)

This week’s Reflection is written by Judi DiMartino.

“Missing Piece Update”

Summer is a time to slow down a little and since most of us have a little vacation time, we sometime use the extra time to do a few things that need to be done. I have the time to share a little with you about an earlier reflection piece I wrote.

Many of you have asked me if there has been any progress in mending the relationship between my sister and I (you might remember that our relationship was quite strained) There really isn’t anything earth shattering to share, but there are a couple of things that have happened that lead me to believe that lots of prayers have been said for this intention. First, my sister, who never used email before to communicate, has occasionally been using it to touch base with me. Second of all, she has set up a Facebook Page (an internet social network to keep in touch with friends, etc.) I also have a Facebook Page, so this is a major move in the right direction! Of course the best way to mend a relationship is to do it face to face, but there is something to be said for “starting somewhere”.

So, the seeds I sowed a few months ago are starting to sprout. Thought you might like to share the growth with me!
