On 29 October, 2001, representatives from Ruotolo Associates presented the results of a Feasibility Study Report to the Parish. The report was intended to "...help determine the parameters of a capital campaign for St. Bernard Parish." Other goals included providing information on attitudes about the parish, clergy, and the community in general, the response to the stated needs of the parish, and what possible levels of financial support could be expected.
